When You Need This
The longer you wait,
the worse it gets.
Parker County and west Tarrant County average over 35 inches of rain annually — concentrated in spring and early fall storm systems that can drop 3 to 6 inches in under two hours. Flash flooding in Aledo and the surrounding communities isn't rare. When floodwater enters a structure, the contamination level matters as much as the volume: water that contacts soil, storm drains, or outdoor surfaces is classified Category 2 or Category 3 under IICRC S500, requiring biohazard-grade handling of anything it touched. S.W.A.T. Restoration carries the equipment and protocols for contaminated flood events — not just clean-water calls.
Warning Signs
- Storm or flash floodwater entering through doors, windows, or foundation gaps
- Floodwater backing up through floor drains or low-level plumbing fixtures
- Saturated carpet, drywall, and insulation on the lowest level of the structure
- Visible silt, debris, or discoloration in floodwater — Category 2 or 3 indicator
- Structural damage to walls, doors, or cabinetry from water pressure or debris impact
- Waterline marks on walls showing sustained flood depth over hours
- Mold growth appearing within 48 to 72 hours of a flood event that went untreated
- Multiple rooms or the entire lower level affected — multi-zone loss
Mission Operations
How we execute
from call to close.
- 01.
Dispatch & Safety
Assess the Scene. Contain the Contamination.
S.W.A.T. Restoration arrives with full PPE for Category 2 and 3 flood events. Electrical safety is confirmed before entering the structure. Floodwater is classified per IICRC S500 on arrival — Category, class of water intrusion, and affected square footage are documented before any extraction begins. Contamination containment is established immediately.
- 02.
Pump-Out & Extract
Volume Out. Contamination Contained.
Submersible pumps clear standing water. Truck-mounted extractors follow for residual and surface saturation. Debris and silt left by floodwater are removed. All Category 2 and 3 contaminated materials — carpet, pad, affected drywall sections, compromised insulation — are bagged and disposed of per Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) guidelines. What can be saved is staged for the drying phase.
- 03.
Structural Drying
Science-Driven Dry-Down. IICRC S500 Standard.
Phoenix LGR dehumidifiers and Dri-Eaz air movers are deployed in a calculated drying system for the affected zones. Injectidry equipment dries wall cavities and framing bays that floodwater reached but surface equipment cannot. Psychrometric readings — temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint, and moisture content by material — are logged daily until materials reach the IICRC S500 dry standard.
- 04.
Antimicrobial & Claim
Treated. Documented. Claim-Ready.
Concrobium or Microban antimicrobial treatment is applied to all affected structural surfaces once dry. S.W.A.T. Restoration produces a complete loss documentation package — classification report, extraction records, drying log, and photo evidence set — formatted for your insurance adjuster. Direct billing is available for covered flood losses. Reconstruction handoff is coordinated before the crew leaves.
